Founded in 1988 in Germany, the MEC Marine Equipment & Consulting GmbH is among the leading companies in the field of container stowage and cargo securing equipment.
MEC also offers engineering for shipyards and shipowners especially for design, calculation, fabrication of container cell guide systems, lashing bridges and container stanchions.
In 2001 MEC became a member of the International Wader Group. Since 30 years Wader is well known in the production of high quality container lashing equipment. Today, the Wader-MEC organisation facilities are certified through the Germanischer Lloyd, DIN / EN ISO 9001:2000.

Right from the beginning of a project, Wader-MEC can be your partner of a Container or RoRo vessel newbuilding. With the latest development in software programs, we are able to act quick and reliable to the challenge of i.e. increasing stackweights or new lashing systems.
